Project Manager – Netherlands
Role & Responsibilities
Due to our business 2 growth, we are searching for a project manager to be responsible for all programmatic aspects of one or multiple projects throughout their complete project lifecycle.
In this varied and challenging role you will prepare project management/development plans, create and maintain project planning for new and currently running projects, assigning and monitoring task progress via regular team meetings, whilst co-ordinating activities within the project teams.
You will also control and monitor project costs, manage sub-contractors and interface directly with customers for all programmatic aspects and reviews. Providing input to procurement and production processes, identifying potential roadblocks within projects and escalating as required, as well as providing inputs for proposals and bids are all part of the role.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Qualification in computer science, aeronautics or electrical engineering (BSc. or higher)
- Three years of relevant experience as project leader/manager in an (electronic systems) engineering organisation
- Experience in the management of subcontractors
- Experience in system development projects and the co-ordination of multi-disciplinary development teams
- Good organisational and communication (written and verbal) skills, for which fluency in English is required
- Experience in formal ESA documentation requirements and workflow according to ECSS would be an advantage
