General Summary

The objective is to maximise Original Equipment (OE) bookings and drive growth within the region whilst ensuring maximum customer intimacy and satisfaction.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

  • Execute the Annual Operating Plan for meeting individual targets and forecast order volumes based on potential and budgets of assigned customers.
  • Responsible for territory order entry for standard business and for identifying advanced business opportunities.
  • Create and maintain an annual territory/bookings strategy/plan to meet/exceed a year-over-year Annual Operating Plan growth trend.
  • Incorporate Miller Heiman Strategic Selling Strategies or similar tools in all sales activities.
  • Manage relationships with assigned key accounts and participate in commercial and technical negotiations.
  • Develop close relationships with our agents/distributor network and key end-users within the territory.
  • Support all Sales and Marketing initiatives fully.
  • Provide voice of the client needs, competitive intelligence, market drivers, and buying influences for the development of new product and service offerings.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Knowledge of product and industry, including competitors' products.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to understand technical and commercial risks in contracts.
  • Excellent communication skills and effective presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Ability to manage and develop a direct reporting team.
  • Ability to travel to customers across assigned territories.

Education And Experience

  • Engineering qualification is desirable.
  • Sales experience with similar products in the oil & gas, power generation, and water & industrial markets.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
