What you’ll be doing
- Gain an excellent understanding of our product lines and how they operate.
- Develop your knowledge, skills and experience across the different aspects of the Application Engineering discipline and wider Commercial function in an engineered to order environment.
- Work on all aspects of pump selection, cost estimating, proposal related activity up to and including final pricing in accordance with the end‑to‑end Tendering Policy & Procedure process.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations & Manufacturing, Project Management, Finance and Legal to appreciate what they do, why they do it, and the associated commercial considerations.
- Work through a 4‑year internal apprenticeship training programme.
- Attend day release college and complete all assignments and examinations to obtain relevant publications.
- Complete SCQF publication in conjunction with the education provider.
- During the apprenticeship complete and present a variety of projects on engineering subjects related to your training.
