For over 40 years, Celerion has been at the forefront of global bioanalytical contract research, partnering with pharmaceutical and biotech innovators to bring new therapies to patients faster. Our growing Fehraltorf/Zurich site is an integral part of that mission.

We are seeking a proactive, people-oriented Human Resources Manager to take ownership of all HR activities at our Swiss site, supporting a team of approximately 125 employees. In this role, you will be the trusted HR partner for employees and management, driving HR processes, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive, high‑performing work environment. You will also leverage state‑of‑the‑art HR IT systems to manage payroll, recruitment, and employee administration efficiently, making it easier to scale HR operations for our growing team. Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary HR contact for employees and managers, providing guidance and support on all HR‑related matters.
  • Manage the full payroll process (ABACUS) and related insurance administration, using digital HR systems to streamline operations.
  • Lead recruitment efforts, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring a smooth and engaging candidate experience supported by modern applicant tracking tools.
  • Oversee HR processes, policies, and administration, continuously identifying areas for improvement and leveraging technology to optimize workflows.
  • Support managers and employees in conflict resolution and workplace challenges, fostering a collaborative culture.
  • Serve as the HR liaison with our finance team in Belfast and ensure alignment with global HR practices.
  • Maintain confidentiality, compliance, and integrity in all HR operations.

What you bring

  • Certified HR professional (Swiss FA) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in HR administration and payroll management, ideally in a regulated or international environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ABACUS payroll systems and other HR IT tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English are required.
  • Discretion, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Enjoyment of working with a diverse, multicultural team.
  • Previous experience in the pharma/biotech sector is a plus.
