  • Dispatch, Floral, Operations, Special Events, Production, Laundry/ Rental
  • Overview

Assist with building, installation, setup, and removal of décor and rental items.

Responsibilities

  • Install, set up, and remove décor/rental items, including tents, tables, chairs, and linens.
  • Maintenance and upkeep of all rental equipment.
  • Meet deadlines and work within time restrictions as indicated on Event Setup paperwork.
  • Respond to customer needs and focus on meeting or exceeding customer expectations by working with attention to detail and safety.
  • Customer Oriented.
  • Adherence to safety and training instructions.
  • Ensure all company items are handled with care; immediately report any changes or if items need maintenance to the Production Supervisor.
  • Job Specification
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience relevant to the role.
  • Capable of working under time restrictions, with the ability to understand and react to changing priorities.
  • Ability to lift heavy items 60-70 pounds in weight.
  • Detail-oriented, positive attitude, and a professional presentation and approach to work.
  • The ability to work well within a team and be willing to take direction.
  • Strong knowledge of street routes and major landmarks
  • A full driving license is required, minimum Group 2, and willing to upgrade it to Group 4.
  • Candidates having carpentry and electrical work experience will be given preference.
  • Education requirement: Basic education with good spoken English
  • Hours of work will vary due to the timing of events, workload, and seasonality of the business.

Normal Business hours are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday to Saturday, and normal working hours per week are 45 hours from Monday to Saturday.
