Celanese are currently recruiting a Business Administration Apprentice to join our busy team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced and varied manufacturing environment where we take pride in delivering flawless performance.
A Business Administration Apprenticeship is an 18 month scheme that will help you achieve a variety of skills and a recognised qualification. You will aim to achieve an NVQ Level 3 Apprenticeship which is a work-based vocational training programme. You will be based at the manufacturing facility for five days a week and will learn on the job. The Business Administration Apprentice will learn all aspects of working in an office environment whilst studying towards a Business Administration qualification.
As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide support to a number of key functions in the business, for example:
- Safety
- Process
- Maintenance
- Technical
- Quality
- Procurement
- HR Admin & Training
You will have an insight into the business of how these functions work and the services they provide within a manufacturing environment. This is an excellent career opportunity for someone who wants to progress within business in a manufacturing environment. You will work towards your L3 Business Admin apprenticeship by assisting in a range of duties relevant to your studies. You will also be set aside time to complete your learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint to create reports, spreadsheets and presentations
- Learn SAP for raising purchase requisitions and receiving goods
- Support differing functions with routine administrative tasks
- General admin duties i.e., record retention, photocopying, filing (paper and electronically)
- Manage office post
Applicant Requirements:
- Have, as a minimum, four passes at GCSE, Grades A-C including English Language and Mathematics
- Be enthusiastic and determined to succeed
- Self-motivated to ensure all NVQ deadlines are met
