Overview

Celanese is looking for a Production Leader to drive flawless daily execution across our 24/7 and Core teams. In this role, you’ll help translate unit strategy into action, strengthen team engagement, and ensure resources, priorities, and performance are aligned to SQRE (Safety, Quality, Reliability and Engagement) objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate 24/7 and Core teams to achieve our 4 core principles.
  • Execute the site plan and support daily operational excellence.
  • Review daily KPIs, identify gaps, and assign actions to close them.
  • Ensure resources, raw materials, supplies, and technology are available to support production.
  • Coordinate daily operations to support Safety, Quality, Reliability and Engagement (SQRE) goals.
  • Identify and implement improvements in processes and procedures, leveraging Lean techniques.
  • Partner with Learning Facilitators, Stewardship Leaders, Asset Leaders, and Technology Leaders to remove barriers and develop the team.
  • Conduct walkthroughs, reinforce best practices, and elevate issues as needed.
  • Maintain a strong culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
