Legal Secretary - Litigation Department
The role involves providing administrative support to the Litigation team in personal injury and general litigation. The position will be trained to handle case progression tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Provide general administrative support to the legal team.
- Prepare materials for ongoing case progression.
- Answer and transfer telephone calls, take messages, and welcome visitors.
- Liaise with clients, visitors, and other contacts via email, telephone, and in person as required.
- Assist colleagues with various duties, including out-of-office errands such as posting documents, banking, and delivering court papers.
- Prepare, send, and receive correspondence.
- File, photocopy, scan, and maintain accurate records of documents.
- Transcribe dictation and perform general typing tasks.
- Use Microsoft Office Suite and the Proclaim case management system for daily tasks.
- Assist the team with daily work to support case management.
- Undertake other duties as required to fulfil the responsibilities of the role.
