About the Role We are looking for a talented and passionate Software Engineer to join our engineering team based in Osterley .

This is an exciting opportunity to work on modern, scalable applications using the latest technologies across backend, frontend, cloud, and Dev Ops.

You will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting high-performance applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and/or C# .

Build modern, responsive user interfaces using React JS .

Develop and support RESTful APIs and microservices .

Design, optimize, and maintain database solutions using Oracle and Couchbase .

Implement and support event-driven architectures using messaging platforms such as Kafka , Active MQ , or Amazon MQ .

Monitor application health using observability tools, including logs, metrics, dashboards, and alerting.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable automated testing and deployments.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues to ensure high system availability and performance.

Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA Engineers, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality software.

Required Skills & Experience Strong commercial experience with Java and/or C# (experience in both is highly desirable).

Strong frontend development experience with React JS .

Proven experience building and supporting REST APIs and microservices .

Experience working with relational and No SQL databases, particularly Oracle and Couchbase .

Experience with messaging and event-driven technologies such as Kafka , Active MQ , or Amazon MQ .

Good understanding of observability and monitoring tools, including Prometheus , Grafana , and AWS Cloud Watch .

Experience with CI/CD pipelines , Concourse , and Git-based development workflows.

Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.
