Our client, a successful growing business, is looking to recruit an Installation Engineer on a full-time permanent basis. This role involves covering the UK by going into retail outlets and installing our client's products in the shops. The installation is relatively straightforward, but you will need some DIY skills as you may need to cut out the counter in the shop to fit in the products and then run cabling in a secure manner. You will also install the electronic equipment so that it connects to the online portals.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has a basic understanding of DIY and is looking for a career with a growing business. You will be provided with a company vehicle, so you don’t need to go to the office every day; you can pick up your workload and then leave directly from your home.
To be considered for this role, you MUST have a valid UK driving licence and be happy to drive across the UK (occasionally overnight stays may be required, fully expensed by the client). The role is Monday to Friday, 9 am till 5 pm; however, there will be overtime available on a regular basis. Excellent benefits include 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and 2 bonus payments a year. Any additional hours worked are either paid as overtime or given back in annual leave hours.
