Our client based in Lincoln is looking to recruit an Internal Sales Executive on a full-time permanent basis. This is a brand-new role to a well-established business, and it is to support a successful division of this company.
The role of Internal Sales Executive is split into different areas:
- Chasing up quotes generated by a team of salespeople to find out if they didn't get the contract and trying to turn the sale around if possible. This creates a lot of data for the Directors and Managers to help the leadership team make decisions.
- Proactively calling customers, both new and old, to either re-engage customers or try and win new business. This will be targeted business development calls in line with external salespeople working together.
- General administrative duties, including producing quotes to help out businesses across the UK during busy times.
Full training will be given. This is a busy sales role, but it isn't purely about making 50 outbound calls a day; it is about offering good service, listening to customers, and seeing if you can win them back or pass on sales leads to the field team. Outbound calls are part of the role, but that is second nature in a position like this.
The role is Monday to Friday office-based, with a base salary of up to £35k and realistic OTE of an additional £15k. However, it will take time to get your pipeline up and running, so realistically expect £6 to £7k in the first year and then £15k afterwards, although anything is achievable.
To be considered for this role, you will have a proven track record in sales and will be able to demonstrate this at interview.
