Our client based in Boston is looking to recruit a Head of Transport on a fulltime permanent basis. The role is to take responsibility for the transport department whilst working with other departments to ensure that the business goes forward.

Job role of Head of Transport:

  • Responsibility for the overall running of the Transport function.
  • Day to day management of transport staff.
  • Develop and mentor the Managers to ensure that everybody reaches their potential and offers the business the security of succession planning as the business grows.
  • Work with Transport team to increase efficiencies and minimise errors, whilst continuing to improve the level of service to the customers.
  • Analysing the processes and procedures and as the business continues to grow and develop review these to meet the needs of the business and customer base.
  • Support the growth of the current facility and satellite depots.
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

To be considered for this role you will have worked at a senior level within Transport and can demonstrate strong leadership skills. The company operates 6 days a week and this role is Monday to Friday, but you manage your time accordingly to get the best results. The company offers an attractive benefits package and a salary of up to £70,000. Interviews to happen ASAP.
