Our client based in Mildenhall are looking to recruit a Maintenance operative on a fulltime permanent basis. This role is to support the existing maintenance team and keep the factory unit up and running to maintain production. This role will suit someone with 12 months hands on experience within a production environment and someone who wants to become a maintenance engineer in the future.

Maintenance Duties

  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery, electrical systems.
  • Complete planned and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Identify and report faults with equipment, fixtures and facilities.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies.
  • Keep tools, equipment and work areas safe and organised.
  • Carry out regular safety checks and inspections.
  • Perform maintenance tasks including welding, mechanical repairs, electrical troubleshooting, and component replacements
  • Follow health and safety procedures and company policies.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance work completed.

The role is Monday to Friday no evenings or weekends and to be considered for this role you will have demonstrated a technical understanding within a production area so mainting operational lines as part fo your role.

The company are offering career development and a starting salary of Β£30,000. You MUST have a driving license as you may go and work at an additional site if needed.
