Data Products Portfolio Manager

To implement and deliver on our ambitious Data product strategy we are looking for a Portfolio Manager for the Data Products Portfolio to ensure that our solutions deliver measurable customer value and remain closely aligned with evolving market needs.

You will lead and enable a distributed team of product managers and domain experts, providing strategic direction, removing obstacles, and safeguarding a unified product vision. The role focuses on expanding and strengthening the Data product portfolio, driving ambitious growth targets, and delivering clear customer value. Acting as the bridge between customers, commercial teams, and engineering, you will play a key role in launching Cenova, shaping our next‑generation, scalable data solutions aligned with Cegal’s growth and technology strategy.

Your contributions

• Own and lead the commercial and product strategy in‑line with our overall business strategy to secure long‑term sustainable growth for the portfolio.
• Engage in customer collaboration to drive innovation, get product feedback, and identify customer user cases and commercial opportunities.
• Define and execute go to market strategies while expanding partnerships, offerings, and market share.
• Identify and realize growth opportunities across markets, including inorganic growth through M&A.
• Lead cross‑functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement to ensure strategy and business alignment.
• Lead a team of highly motivated Product Managers, Product Owners and Domain Experts.
• Act as a brand ambassador that proudly champions Cegal’s story and value propositions.

Who you are?

You ideally have:

• Relevant experience in the Subsurface Data Management and the associated technology landscape (5+ years).
• Experience with Product Management and/or Commercial Management, with an E&P focus, is an advantage.
• Familiarity with cloud‑based geoscience platforms (e.g., OSDU) is desirable.
• A commercial mindset and consistent focus on business value for customers.
• Experience with leading and motivating high‑performing teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Solution‑oriented mindset with a high sense of accountability.
