In this role, you will conduct therapy and case management associated with the program by providing in-home clinical services, negotiating therapeutic goals and using systemic resources to assist in meeting these goals.
MST (Multisystemic Therapy) is an empirically based and internationally proven treatment model developed through more than 30 years of applied research. Our MST program is designed specifically for young people and focuses on changing the factors linked to anti-social and offending behaviour across individual, family, peer, school/vocational, and community systems.
- Masters’ Degree in Clinical Social Work, Psychology or related subject area preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Social Work, Psychology or related subject area accompanied by significant experience may be considered.
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant professional organisation/s.
- Demonstrated experience providing individual therapy with children and adults using cognitive behavioural techniques.
- A working knowledge of the culture and strengths of the families within the MST-CAN population.
- Demonstrated experience providing substance abuse treatment for adults and children using behaviourally-based approaches.
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and NSW Working with Children Check.
