- Work towards meeting and exceeding client KPIs
- Support and lead outreach activity across proactive, reactive, thought leadership and data-led campaigns
- Contribute to team brainstorms and ideation sessions across multiple clients
- Develop creative campaign ideas supported by robust, well-researched methodologies
- Conduct data analysis to identify story angles and opportunities for media coverage (FOI requests, analysing publicly available datasets, consumer research insights)
- Write compelling press releases, email pitches and campaign landing page copy that translate data into newsworthy content
- Identify reactive PR opportunities by monitoring news, trends and social media
- Research, build and manage targeted media lists relevant to campaign goals and audiences
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong client management skills – this is a client-facing role
- Proven experience securing high quality links and coverage across national, lifestyle and digital media
- Excellent written communication skills and strong English language ability
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel (advanced Excel skills are desirable but not essential)
- Previous experience in a Digital PR role is essential
- Strong Digital PR skillset, including experience with newsjacking, campaign work and thought leadership
- Good awareness of SEO and how Digital PR contributes to wider search performance
