Are you a recent graduate or someone looking to take a step into the world of digital marketing? We have a 6 month fixed term role as a Digital PR & Content Assistant - a great opportunity to learn in a busy digital marketing agency, with the potential for the role to become permanent at the end of the six months if there is a capacity requirement.
This is a hands-on role that sits across our SEO & Digital PR team and will see you work across campaigns to land client coverage and links straight from the start, in addition to creating effective content for client’s websites, social media campaigns and the Cedarwood website.
From sending out Christmas trees for journalists to review to working with a legal client to analyse Coronation Street storylines, this is a varied role that is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment & has good analytical skills. On top of good analytical skills, you’ll have good written and verbal skills, as well as good organisation skills in order to manage media lists and our journalist database. You’ll also be able to keep on top of admin-related tasks such as updating these lists & databases when required.
The Main Responsibilities of the Digital PR & Content Assistant will be:
- Monitoring news on a daily basis
- Use our media database to source relevant contacts and build relationships with journalists - media list building will play a key part of this role
- Interview clients and create content for thought leadership articles, to be placed on industry blogs and magazines
- Creating effective press releases around topical PR stories
- Creating effective landing page and product copy for websites
- Conducting research for data-led campaigns
Excellent written communication skills & English. Skills in MS Word, Excel. Keen interest in the PR and content space. Hybrid: Manchester City Centre Office.
