We are an established, child-focused organisation in Burton on Trent with a mission to create safe, nurturing environments where children can heal, grow, and thrive. With two Ofsted-rated “Good” homes and a third opening soon, we are expanding our team and looking for dedicated Children Support Workers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day care and emotional support to children in a residential setting
  • Deliver therapeutic care using the PACE model (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy)
  • Support and implement individual therapeutic interventions
  • Help children build resilience and emotional regulation skills
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a structured, therapeutic home environment
  • Share therapeutic knowledge and contribute to a culture of learning and development

Requirements

  • Experience in residential childcare and therapeutic care – essential
  • Strong commitment to child-centred care and making a positive difference
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Compassionate, proactive, and patient approach
  • Full UK driving licence – required
