We’re recruiting an experienced QS / Senior Commercial Manager M&E to take ownership of the commercial function on major M&E projects in central London. Experience of working for an organisation that has acted as a sub-contractor to a Tier 1 client is highly desirable.
This is a senior, hands-on role ideal for a candidate with a strong Quantity Surveying / Commercial management background and a proven track record of delivering commercial success on large-scale, technically complex M&E infrastructure programmes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all commercial aspects of M&E sub-contract projects
- Oversee contract negotiation, administration, and compliance (primarily NEC forms)
- Provide commercial input into tenders and work-winning activity
- Collaborate with finance and delivery teams on forecasting, reporting, and performance management
- Drive best practice in commercial operations while navigating a regulated, greenfield environment
- Demonstrate a personable, professional approach in all stakeholder interactions
- Proven experience in senior commercial / QS roles on M&E sub-contract or infrastructure projects
- Strong Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) commercial / QS experience
- In-depth knowledge of NEC contracts and construction law
- Excellent stakeholder and client management skills
- Degree qualified with professional membership (MRICS / CIOB or equivalent)
- Sub contract on major infrastructure projects experience highly desirable
