We\’re seeking a Senior Procurement Category Manager – Technology to join a forward-thinking global organisation in the midst of a major digital transformation.

What You\’ll Be Doing

Strategic Procurement Leadership

• Develop and execute category strategies across Infrastructure, Cloud, and On-Prem to Cloud migration projects.

• Drive long-term commercial plans that optimise spend, reduce risk, and deliver innovation.

• Act as a strategic partner to IT leadership, influencing major investment and transformation decisions.

Supplier & Contract Management

• Lead end-to-end sourcing activity – from market engagement through negotiation and contract award.

• Build and manage high-value supplier relationships that deliver measurable business outcomes.

• Oversee renewals, governance, and supplier performance across a global technology supply chain.

Commercial & Financial Impact

• Provide oversight of over £200m in IT spend across CAPEX and OPEX.

• Leverage FinOps experience to drive cloud cost efficiency and financial accountability.

• Identify opportunities for savings, optimisation, and innovation across technology categories.

• Track and report value delivery to senior leadership, aligning procurement performance with business goals.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner cross-functionally with IT, Finance, and Operations to align sourcing strategies with enterprise priorities.

• Present strategies, outcomes, and insights to senior executives, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

What We\’re Looking For

• Strong background in IT Procurement or Technology Category Management.
• Proven experience leading on-prem to cloud transformation projects.
• Hands-on FinOps experience – deep understanding of cloud cost management and optimisation.
• Demonstrated success managing complex, global sourcing initiatives.
• Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Technically confident across cloud, infrastructure, and software categories.
• Degree-qualified (or equivalent experience); MCIPS or Project Management certification desirable.
