I am recruiting a Senior Group Financial Reporting Manager for one of the UK’s fastest growing technology businesses. Established over 15 years ago, this private equity backed business has grown particularly rapidly on the back of the ever increasing global demand for, and consumption of, data. Revenues are poised to smash through the 400m mark this financial year; the business is increasingly profitable and this is an excellent time to join them as they continue to invest and enter new markets.
Responsibilities:
- Own the production of monthly & quarterly group and annual statutory reporting requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors on accounting issues, deliverables and timetable.
- Provide in-house technical accounting expertise and advice on various aspects of IFRS.
- Ensure the best use of the SAP S4 HANA (and upcoming SAC module) to improve analysis.
- Manage, lead & develop a team of five accountants.
- Improve the financial control environment as the business enters 3+ new European markets.
- Play a lead role in several projects to support the needs of a growing business.
Qualifications:
- A qualified accountant – ACA preferred.
- In a similar Group Reporting role in industry or a Senior Manager from practice seeking to move.
- A technically sound individual who wants to develop their skills in a rounded reporting role.
- A strong people manager who is demonstrably interested in training & developing their staff.
- Able to prioritise a wide range of tasks and deliver to challenging deadlines.
- Looking to progress their career both now and in future roles as the company grows.
