Procurement Lead (Housing) Initial 6 Month Contract | Hybrid Working | £500-£600 per day Inside IR35 Cedar Recruitment are currently supporting a leading Public Sector organisation in London with the recruitment of an experienced Procurement Lead to support the delivery of a high profile, multi-stage housing procurement programme.
The successful candidate will play a key role in progressing complex procurement activity through to completion, working closely with stakeholders to maintain momentum.
The role will require someone who can challenge constructively, influence effectively and take ownership, with a competitive flexible procurement forming part of the programme.
The programme is already underway, so this is an opportunity for an experienced procurement professional who can hit the ground running, quickly understand priorities and deliver with minimal supervision.
Essential
Requirements: Proven experience delivering complex procurement within the construction/housing category.
Experience working with NEC3/4 or JCT contract suites.
Experience within Local or Central Government settings.
Strong commercial awareness, with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders where required.
