Overview
Cedar have been instructed on a Fractional Project Manager position (Outside IR35) for a financial services business. This role supports the delivery of legal and regulatory transformation projects, including corporate restructuring and organisational readiness initiatives. You will work closely with senior leadership, subject matter experts, external advisers and industry stakeholders across multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery and Planning
- Support the planning and delivery of legal and regulatory transformation projects.
- Maintain project plans, milestones, RAID logs and status reporting.
- Monitor progress and escalate risks, issues and dependencies as required.
- Coordinate delivery across multiple workstreams.
- Regulatory and Legal Coordination
- Coordinate input from legal, compliance, risk and regulatory stakeholders.
- Support engagement with external legal advisers and ensure outputs meet statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain documentation to support audit and compliance.
- Governance and Reporting
- Support governance forums and Steering Groups through agenda management, paper preparation and meeting coordination.
- Produce clear project updates and maintain decision and action logs.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Change Support
- Build effective working relationships with internal teams, member organisations, regulators and delivery partners.
- Support organisational readiness and transition planning activities.
- Assist with communications, training coordination and adoption support where required.
Experience and Skills Required
- Essential experience delivering projects in regulated or transformation environments.
- Experience supporting regulatory change, governance reform, legal restructuring or compliance projects.
- Experience in corporate restructuring and Holding Company establishment.
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in complex delivery environments.
