IntroCedar is currently partnered with a highly entrepreneurial, growth-focused business to secure an Interim Project Accountant, based in Central London. The role is a 6-month initial contract, paying £400 – £450 per day.

The business is looking for a technically strong accountant to join the team at an exciting stage of growth, with exposure across financial control, FP&A and wider commercial initiatives.
The Role
As Interim Project Accountant, you will:
- Support the Head of Finance with project due diligence, investment appraisals and post-investment reviews
- Support budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting across the portfolio
- Produce insightful variance analysis, identifying key drivers, trends and opportunities
- Develop commercially focused reporting to support improved business decision-making
- Support the implementation and rollout of a new FP&A reporting tool
- Provide analysis across trading performance, costs, margins and operational efficiency
- Support the development and review of financial controls, policies and governance frameworks
- Assist with statutory reporting, reconciliations and audit support
Your Profile
You will ideally have:
- A formal accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong technical accounting experience within industry-based accounting roles
- Multi-entity and multi-site experience
- Experience operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into commercial insight
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with complex BI tools, reporting systems and large datasets
- Availability to begin immediately or at short notice
