An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a highly regarded organisation on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role will play a pivotal part in ensuring a smooth, efficient, and resilient monthly payroll process, while also supporting the implementation of a new HR and Payroll system. Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the monthly payroll timetable, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
- Act as a subject matter expert on payroll matters, including statutory payments, allowances, and benefits.
- Partner closely with HR and Finance colleagues to resolve queries and ensure data accuracy across HR and payroll systems.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll tax legislation and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to the review and development of payroll policies and support annual pay review modelling.
Essential Experience
- Strong experience working within HR and payroll functions, ideally in complex organisations.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven payroll processes.
