Cedar are supporting a Local Authority based in London who are looking to hire an Interim Procurement Manager to support requirements relating to Housing/Built Environment. This contract will run for c12 months initially and will operate INSIDE IR35 offering a competitive Day Rate (c£450-550). This role will operate on a hybrid working basis with the expectations to go on-site c2 days per week but will require flexibility to meet the needs of the project.
The successful candidate will support end to end Procurement activity for requirements relating to Housing/Built Environment through the use of Competitive Dialogue and/or Negotiated Procedures. The successful candidate will provide procurement advice, guidance and expertise and will ensure compliance and value for money is achieved for the Authority on the requirements engaged to be delivered.
Candidates applying MUST HAVE:
- completed the Transforming Public Procurement Training (required)
- experience working in a similar role/category (i.e. Housing, Development, Built Environment) in the Public Sector (required)
- strong stakeholder management skills
- experience running compliant Competitive Dialogue and/or Negotiated Procedure procurements would be advantageous
