Cedar are supporting a Public Sector client, based in London, who are looking to hire an Interim Procurement Lead – ICT on a contract that will run for 6 months (potential to extend). This role will operate inside IR35, offering a day rate up to £550. This role will operate on a hybrid working arrangement with the requirement to be on site 2 days per week. The client is looking for someone to start ASAP.
The successful candidate will support key programmes and requires strong commercial, contractual, and stakeholder‑management capability within a public‑sector environment. The successful candidate will lead contract finalisation/negotiation and additionally manage complex commercial and contractual activities. The focus of the role will be to drive value through effective contract management, SRM, and support to implementation activities as well as manage challenging supplier relationships and internal stakeholders.

- Experience working a similar role in the UK Public Sector
- Strong background supporting contracts/procurement in the IT category
- Strong contract management experience; experience with complex technical contracts is required
