Cedar is supporting a wellâestablished and growing organisation in its search for a Group Finance Manager. The business operates across multiple entities and jurisdictions and is undergoing a period of continued expansion and operational development. This role would suit a technically strong, qualified accountant with experience in group reporting and team leadership, who is looking to take ownership of core finance processes within a dynamic property environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and consolidation of groupâlevel financial statements and management accounts
- Oversee monthâend and yearâend close processes across multiple legal entities
- Manage group consolidations, intercompany accounting, and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal policies
- Own the group balance sheet, including regular review, reconciliation, and issue resolution
- Coordinate statutory audits and act as the primary point of contact for external auditors
- Review and improve financial controls, processes, and reporting frameworks
- Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insight and support business decisionâmaking
- Support the development and mentoring of junior finance team members
About you
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a group reporting or finance management role
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (UK GAAP and/or IFRS)
- Experience working within the property or real estate sector is advantageous
- Confident managing complex financial structures and multiple entities
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
- Detailâoriented, organised, and comfortable working in a deadlineâdriven environment
