OverviewCedar are delighted to be supporting a forward thinking business that, following a strong 2025, is looking to expand its finance team with the addition of a Finance Analyst. This is an opportunity to join a high performing function at the centre of the Group's commercial and financial decision making, offering broad exposure across senior leadership.
You will play a key role in tracking core performance metrics, supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles, and delivering clear, actionable insights to the Finance Director and wider senior team.
Responsibilities- Performance and Insight: Monitor and interpret financial and operational KPIs, ensuring leadership receives timely, meaningful analysis that supports decision making and drives performance.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Support planning cycles by producing accurate budgets, rolling forecasts and scenario modelling that inform both short and long term strategy.
- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with senior stakeholders, translating data into clear narratives and supporting cross functional initiatives with high quality analysis.
- Reporting: Prepare concise management reporting packs that highlight trends, risks and opportunities across the Group.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance reporting tools, streamline data flows and strengthen financial discipline across the finance function.
- Qualified Finance Analyst: ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Background: Experience within a similar FP&A capacity. Exposure to utilities, infrastructure or a similarly data & capex intensive environments is beneficial.
- Technical Skills: Strong analytical capability and confidence working with complex data sets and financial models.
- Personality: Curious, proactive and comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders.
