Cedar is supporting a client, based in Central London, who operates in the Public Sector marketplace and is looking for a Commercial Services Business Partner. This is a permanent job opportunity offering a salary ranging from £55,000 up to £65,000 plus a range of benefits which include 10% Employer Pension Contributions, potential 20% bonus and other perks.
This role will operate on a hybrid working basis with the expectation to be on-site 3 days per week. Reporting into the Head of Commercial, the successful candidate will work in a small team and cover a wide range of end-to-end Procurement requirements that are mainly in Indirects. Procurement supported will cover a wide range of Goods and Services but will typically be valued below threshold (ranging typically from £20,000 up to £100,000) and it will be your responsibility to manage key stakeholder engagements, manage the full lifecycle process to ensure compliance and where possible value for money.
Additionally, where required, you will also be involved in strategic or high-value procurements and will be required to undertake market and supplier analysis and ensure continual supplier assurance and due diligence activities are completed.
Candidates applying MUST HAVE:
- Ideally completed MCIPS or working towards MCIPS qualification (or relevant procurement experience)
- Experience working in a similar role in the UK Public Sector Procurement marketplace - experience in Financial Services and/or Insurance would be advantageous
- Strong communication skills along with the ability to engage and develop positive relationships with people at C-Suite level
- Experience using tools such as Power BI and other systems relating to eSourcing and Contract Management i.e. Delta is required
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload in a busy environment is required
