IntroCedar is currently partnered with a high-growth, PE-backed Consumer Technology business to secure a Commercial Finance Lead for a rapidly expanding division, based in Central London. This is a maternity cover contract running from June 2026 through to approximately August 2027, offering a salary of £85,000-100,000.

The business continues to invest heavily into growth areas, with Grocery representing one of its fastest-growing and most commercially important divisions.
The Role
- Act as the lead finance business partner to the divisional leadership team
- Support trading performance, commercial decision-making and operational planning
- Challenge and influence senior stakeholders, including commercial leadership
- Deliver detailed modelling, forecasting and performance analysis
- Work closely with large and often unstructured data sets to generate actionable commercial insight
- Support pricing, trading and commercial initiatives with clear financial analysis
- Drive continuous improvement across reporting, forecasting and KPI tracking
- Operate in a highly hands-on environment within a fast-paced growth business
Your Profile
- A formal accountancy qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Strong commercial finance experience within a fast-paced environment
- Previous exposure to trading, performance or business partnering roles
- Strong Excel and financial modelling capability
- Experience working with large, complex or messy data sets
- The confidence to challenge and influence senior stakeholders
- Grocery, retail, consumer or technology sector exposure would be beneficial
- Approximately 5-7 years PQE preferred
- The ability to hit the ground running from day one in a highly commercial environment
