We are partnering with a rapidly scaling European real estate and operations business that is enhancing a traditionally fragmented sector through technology, data and operational excellence. The business currently manages over 5,000 assets across the UK and is embarking on an ambitious growth journey to scale to more than 25,000 assets across Europe over the coming years. Backed by a highly entrepreneurial leadership team, they are investing heavily in systems, data infrastructure and commercial decision-making to support this next phase of growth.
Following the recent appointment of a new CFO, the business is embarking on a significant finance and technology investment. This role will sit at the heart of that journey, helping build a modern, data-driven finance function capable of supporting a much larger and more complex organisation. This is a rare opportunity to join a business at an inflection point and play a key role in shaping how finance, data and technology interact across the organisation.
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will combine commercial finance, business intelligence and process improvement responsibilities. You will help redesign core processes, improve reporting infrastructure, leverage modern AI-enabled tools and build scalable data solutions that drive better decision-making across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with the CFO to professionalise and modernise finance operations
- Building commercial reporting and analytical frameworks across multiple operating entities

- Working with APIs, data integrations and reporting tools to automate manual processes
- Developing scalable management information and KPI reporting
- Analysing customer journeys and operational performance to identify commercial improvements
- Supporting technology implementation projects and wider digital enhancement initiatives
- Leveraging AI and automation tools to improve efficiency and insight generation
- Creating compelling narratives around business performance for senior stakeholders
We are looking for an intellectually curious and commercially minded individual who enjoys solving complex business problems through a combination of finance, data and technology. You will likely bring:
- Strong FP&A, commercial finance or business intelligence experience
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience working with large datasets and reporting tools
- Strong understanding of data structures, databases and reporting architecture
- Exposure to APIs, automation tools or modern data platforms
- Ability to translate complex data into commercial recommendations
- Experience operating within a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A hands-on mentality with the ability to work autonomously
Why Join?
- Significant exposure to an experienced CFO
- Opportunity to help build a best-in-class finance and data function
