Cedar is partnering with a high-growth business to appoint an Interim Senior FP&A Consultant to support through a critical transaction readiness programme. The assignment is offered for an initial 12-month contract, requiring a heavy on-site presence at the client’s Central London office. The role offers £550 – £650 per day outside IR35.

The Company: A rapidly growing business operating within a complex, project-based environment. As the business prepares for a potential transaction, it is investing in strengthening its financial planning, reporting and due diligence capability to ensure it is investor-ready.

The Role: This role as Interim Senior FP&A Consultant combines strategic financial planning, commercial finance and transaction readiness. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development of a robust 3-5 year integrated financial model to support strategic planning and a potential transaction
  • Driving budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning across the business, coordinating inputs from operational stakeholders
  • Supporting the Finance Director and external Corporate Finance advisers throughout the transaction readiness process
  • Preparing the business for financial due diligence, ensuring financial information is accurate, robust and investor-ready
  • Building, organising and managing the virtual data room, coordinating documentation requests from advisers and prospective investors
  • Partnering closely with operational stakeholders to improve financial insight, challenge assumptions and strengthen commercial decision-making

Your Profile: Qualified accountant, ideally trained within a Transaction Services or Corporate Finance environment. Previous experience in Corporate Finance or Transaction Services, followed by an in-house FP&A role supporting commercial decision-making / Transaction activity. Strong experience supporting transaction readiness, financial due diligence or private equity-backed environments. Advanced financial modelling skills with the ability to build investor-grade integrated models. Commercially minded, hands-on and comfortable operating within a fast-paced, high-growth business. Available immediately or at short notice.
