Introduction A private equity-backed marketing business is seeking an experienced Interim Senior Group Finance Manager to lead several time-critical finance projects during a busy period. This is a hands-on assignment with a particular focus on capital expenditure reporting, alongside ownership of several group-wide finance workstreams. The Company An established, private equity-backed marketing business operating in a fast-paced and growing market. The group has an experienced finance function supporting a broad range of commercial activity. It is currently delivering several finance priorities alongside BAU reporting, including a key December deadline for its capital expenditure reporting workstream. The Role Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Interim Senior Group Finance Manager will take ownership of capital expenditure reporting and manage the delivery of several cross-functional finance projects. Key responsibilities include: Leading the capital expenditure reporting workstream and delivering the required outputs by the December deadline Producing accurate reporting covering capital spend, commitments, forecasts and variances Improving the consistency, controls and visibility of capital expenditure reporting across the group Managing the insurance renewal process, coordinating internal information and external stakeholders Managing the group's transfer pricing policy and supporting its implementation Consolidating the VAT compliance process from multiple providers to a single provider Preparing and reviewing group-level analysis, reconciliations and supporting schedules Building robust Excel models and reporting packs to support decision-making and project delivery Working closely with finance, tax and operational stakeholders to keep each workstream on plan Providing additional senior capacity to the wider group finance team as required Your Profile Qualified ACA, ACCA or equivalent Strong group finance experience within a complex, multi-entity business Substantial capital expenditure reporting experience is essential Previous interim or contracting experience within a mid-market, private equity-backed business Advanced Excel skills, including detailed reporting, modelling and reconciliations Proven ability to manage multiple deadline-driven finance projects simultaneously Confident working with senior finance, operational and external stakeholders Practical exposure to transfer pricing, VAT consolidation or insurance renewals would be highly desirable Comfortable operating in a hands-on role and taking full ownership of deliverables Compensation and Benefits This is a 6-9 month interim assignment offering a day rate of Β£500-Β£600, dependent on experience, and is inside IR35. The position is based near Holborn and requires three days per week in the office. It offers the opportunity to take ownership of several visible group finance workstreams while supporting an established team through a particularly busy period.
