  • Own the external audit process, managing the relationship with auditors and ensuring full compliance with evolving reporting standards.
  • Lead and mentor a globally dispersed team including heads of consolidation, technical accounting, and regional controllers.
  • Drive integration of new acquisitions into the group\’s financial structure and reporting processes.
  • Oversee the optimisation of financial systems, controls, and close timetables to support future scale.
  • Provide insightful financial reporting and commentary to senior leadership and investors.

Your Profile
You will ideally have:

  • A strong technical background, with deep IFRS expertise and a track record of managing complex consolidations.
  • Experience leading global finance teams in fast-paced, acquisitive businesses.
  • Proven ability to operate in a senior finance leadership capacity, partnering with executive stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience across both technical and operational finance, including oversight of AP/AR and internal control environments.
  • Prior exposure to private equity-backed environments or large, complex international structures.

Compensation & Benefits
As well as the day rate of £1,200-£1,400 per day (outside IR35), this interim role as Group Finance Director offers the opportunity to step into a highly strategic leadership position during a pivotal period of change.

You will work alongside a high-calibre executive team and play a critical role in reshaping the global finance function of a world-class business backed by a prominent investor. This opportunity offers genuine impact and influence in a fast-moving, internationally focused environment.
