Cedar are supporting a Local Authority who are on the look for an Interim Category Manager – IT & Digital. This role will be home based and will run for an initial 3 months (potential to be extended). This role is INSIDE IR35 with a day rate of 400 up to 500 on offer.
The successful candidate will support a range of end to end compliant procurements relating to ICT and Digital covering areas such as Software, Hardware, Infrastructure and Professional Services. You will be required to use/call-off Public Sector Frameworks such as G-Cloud and DOS to deliver value for money and innovative solutions.
Candidates applying MUST HAVE:
- Strong experience working in the UK Public Sector in a Procurement, Category or Commercial Management position is required
- Knowledge and hands on experience running end to end ICT and/or Digital Procurements via Frameworks such as G-Cloud or DOS is required
