The Opportunity
Working across multiple concurrent post-acquisition integration projects, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transition of newly acquired businesses into the group’s operational, systems and cultural framework. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role, requiring strong stakeholder engagement, robust project governance, and the ability to operate confidently in complex, change-driven environments. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership, functional heads, and external partners across Finance, IT, HR and Operations, acting as a central conduit for execution, communication and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of critical first 30-day integration communications post-acquisition
- Coordinate and implement group policies, processes and system transitions
- Document current operational and system workflows to support integration activity
- Manage third-party vendors to deliver against agreed scope, cost and timelines
- Develop and deliver system deployment and go-live plans, managing comms and downtime
- Track project plans, monitor risk and issue management, and drive mitigating actions
- Oversee training logistics and delivery to support successful system implementation
- Manage data handling across system and people-related workstreams
- Produce high-quality reporting at project and programme level
- Provide operational and administrative project support as required
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in project delivery roles
- Formal project management qualification (Prince2, APM or similar)
- Experience in post-merger integration or business transformation
- Strong understanding of risk, issue and stakeholder management
- Proven ability to plan, track and deliver multiple projects concurrently
- Highly organised, proactive and capable of operating autonomously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and third-party suppliers
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, change-oriented environments
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
- Full driving licence and own vehicle
- Fluent in English and German
