We are seeking a highly capable Senior FP&A Consultant (Modelling & Systems) for an interim opportunity with a London-based business undergoing a significant FP&A and reporting enhancement programme. This role will play a key part in improving planning capability, strengthening data integrity, and enhancing the quality of insight provided to senior stakeholders. Operating within a complex, multi-entity environment, this is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on consultant who can bridge finance, systems, and advanced modelling.
You will be responsible for designing and improving financial planning models, optimising finance systems, and delivering high-value analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Key responsibilities:- Design, build, and enhance integrated financial models across P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
- Develop driver-based forecasting models, including scenario planning and long-range forecasting
- Support and optimise finance systems, particularly Oracle / Essbase, ensuring robust and accurate data flows
- Partner closely with FP&A teams and senior stakeholders to provide insightful, decision-ready analysis
- Perform complex data manipulation, cleansing, and validation across multiple systems
- Translate business requirements into scalable reporting and systems improvements
- Improve reporting efficiency through automation, model optimisation, and tooling enhancements
- Strong hands-on financial modelling expertise, particularly integrated 3-statement models (Essential)
- Proven experience across both FP&A and finance systems environments
- Strong working knowledge of Oracle / Essbase (Essential)
- Ability to operate independently and add value quickly in an interim capacity
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders across finance and the wider business
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
