Finance & Operations Manager

£45,000 - £50,000 | Central London | Hybrid

Cedar has partnered with a successful and well established communications business based in central London, working across corporate communications, public affairs and strategic campaigns.

It is a high-performing, close-knit business with a strong reputation, and this is a great opportunity to join a small team where your work will have genuine visibility and impact.

The successful candidate will be a strong finance professional, ideally part-qualified, with excellent Xero experience, strong attention to detail and the confidence to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable, expenses and payments
• Own sales invoicing, credit control and cash management
• Complete bank reconciliations and VAT preparation
• Support month-end and management reporting
• Manage client contracts, onboarding and compliance
• Track sales, expenses and client recharges
• Manage timesheets, resource tracking and reporting
• Support payroll, HR and wider business operations

Person specification

• 3+ years' finance experience
• Strong Xero experience - essential
• AAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA
• Good knowledge of UK VAT
• Strong Excel skills
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Confident dealing with clients, suppliers and senior stakeholders
