Overview:
Cedar is supporting a business looking to expand its finance team with the addition of a Finance Analyst. This position is integral to the Group’s commercial and financial decision-making, providing broad exposure across senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performance and Insight: Monitor and interpret financial and operational KPIs, ensuring leadership receives timely, meaningful analysis that supports decision making and drives performance.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Support planning cycles by producing accurate budgets, rolling forecasts, and scenario modelling that inform both short and long-term strategy.
- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with senior stakeholders, translating data into clear narratives and supporting cross-functional initiatives with high-quality analysis.
- Reporting: Prepare concise management reporting packs that highlight trends, risks, and opportunities across the Group.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance reporting tools, streamline data flows, and strengthen financial discipline across the finance function.
About You:
- Qualified Finance Analyst: ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Background: Experience within a similar FP&A capacity. Exposure to utilities, infrastructure, or similarly data and capex intensive environments is beneficial.
- Technical Skills: Strong analytical capability and confidence working with complex data sets and financial models.
- Personality: Curious, proactive, and comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders.
