Cedar is supporting the search for a Global Product Manager - Damage Accuracy, who will lead the vision, development, and adoption of next-generation AI-enabled damage assessment capabilities within a global organisation. This role is central to establishing the foundations of these technologies, including evaluating and shaping multiple possible initiation pathways such as internal development, partnerships, pilots, vendor collaborations, or hybrid approaches. The Product Manager will ensure the organisation identifies the right strategic approach to kickstart the product, deliver early value, and build a scalable solution.
Damage accuracy requires a complex solution, expected to include:
- A customer-facing mobile capability for capturing images of vehicle damage, guiding users through image capture and supporting a configurable journey (pre/post booking depending on market needs)
- An AI-powered image analysis tool to assess and classify damage
- A back-office capability to enable manual image review and insurer data capture
Each component will involve distinct stakeholder groups, requiring careful prioritisation and alignment. The customer-facing experience is seen as a key differentiator and must be delivered to a best-in-class standard.
Beyond the initial phase, the Global Product Manager will own the end-to-end lifecycle of damage accuracy technologies: defining vision, strategy, roadmap, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance, and driving global rollout across North America, Europe, and other regions. This is a hands-on product role requiring strong experience across product development, customer experience, commercial thinking, and close collaboration with data science, engineering, digital, and operational teams.
