Cedar is supporting a high growth PE backed business to appoint a Commercial Finance Director. This role will play a key role in driving commercial performance, operational decision making, and strategic growth initiatives.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a strategic finance partner to the divisional MD and senior leadership team
- Driving commercial insight, performance analysis, and business decision support
- Leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Developing KPI reporting and improving visibility around business performance
- Supporting pricing, margin optimisation, and operational efficiency initiatives
- Partnering closely with operational leaders to influence performance and growth
- Leading and developing a high-performing finance team
- Supporting strategic projects, investment decisions, and M&A activity where required
- Ensuring robust financial controls and governance within a fast-paced environment
Candidate profile:
- A commercially minded Finance Director with strong business partnering capability
- Experience operating within a large, multi-site or services-led environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Previous PE-backed experience would be advantageous, although not essential
