Cedar is currently partnered with a global, PE-Backed Infrastructure Firm to secure an Interim Financial Reporting Manager based in Central London. The role is an initial 6-month contract, paying a day rate between £500-600 per day.

The finance function is central to this evolution, with a growing emphasis on improving reporting quality, strengthening controls, and delivering clearer financial insight to senior leadership and shareholders.
The Role
As Interim Financial Reporting Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the preparation and review of consolidated monthly financial reporting across multiple business units.
- Producing management reporting packs covering trading performance, balance sheet movements, cashflow, debt and operational KPIs.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and longer-term planning cycles across the Group.
- Delivering detailed financial analysis and commentary to support senior leadership decision-making.
- Managing reconciliations, reporting schedules and reporting integrity across a complex multi-entity environment.
- Partnering with operational and commercial finance teams to improve consistency and quality of financial information.
- Supporting reporting process enhancements, finance transformation initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
- Assisting with shareholder, board and executive-level reporting requirements where required.
Your Profile
You will ideally have:
- A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
- Strong experience across financial reporting, management accounting and group consolidations.
- Previous exposure to large, multi-entity or international businesses.
- Experience using consolidation or reporting platforms.
- Advanced Excel capability, with exposure to Power BI or other reporting tools viewed favourably.
- The ability to communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Previous interim / contract experience would be advantageous, though not essential.
Compensation & Benefits
As well as the day rate of £500-600 per day, this role offers the opportunity to join a highly visible Group Finance function within a large-scale international organisation undergoing significant change and investment.
