Overview
Urgent requirement for a Senior IT Category Manager (Contract Outside IR35) focused on IT Infrastructure – Cloud and On-Prem. 6-month contract in London with a hybrid on-site arrangement (1-2 days on-site); fully remote considered for exceptional candidates. Start next week. Day rate £650-£700 per day (Outside IR35).
We have an immediate opportunity for a Senior IT Category Manager who specialises in IT Infrastructure – Cloud and On-Prem to join on a 6-month contract. This is an urgent role covering a critical gap in the team and is strictly for candidates who are available to start next week.
Please note: Only candidates with proven private sector experience in FMCG or other fast-paced commercial environments will be considered.
Role Overview
- Lead end-to-end IT procurement across complex infrastructure projects (both Cloud and On-Prem)
- Own the category strategy and drive commercial value across key IT suppliers
- Operate in a fast-paced, delivery-focused procurement function
- Engage stakeholders and influence across all levels of a commercial business
Requirements
- Immediately available – must be able to start within 5 working days
- Strong experience in private sector procurement – FMCG, retail, or other fast-paced tech industries
- Expertise in IT Infrastructure procurement – Cloud and On-Prem essential
- Skilled in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiations
- Excellent commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement
Working Model
- Based in London – 1-2 days per week on-site
- Fully remote considered only for candidates with exceptional experience
