Cedar are exclusively working with a key Central Government client who are looking to hire a Contract Manager. The starting salary on offer for this role is Β£48,750 and has a range of great benefits which include CIPS Funding (if required), 25 days annual leave (plus Bank Holidays - this can rise to 30 after 5 years' service), Civil Service Pension and a range of other perks.
The role will operate on a hybrid working basis with the expectation to go on-site 2 days per week at the office in London and occasional team meetings (1 day per month) at offices based in Leeds. This is an exciting role offering great development opportunities as well as variety to your workload across Procurement, Sourcing and Contract Management.
Candidates applying must be able to obtain SC Clearance in order to commence this role. Reporting into the Head of Contract Management, the successful candidate will manage several contracts covering areas such as Corporate Services, Professional Services and DDaT.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the Contract Management of a range of the most strategically important contracts in the department, ensuring performance and value are achieved whilst mitigating commercial risk. You will be responsible for managing the performance of the contracts you are responsible for ensuring that underperformance is addressed and formal improvement actions are developed and monitored.
