Location: Birmingham, 2 days per week on site

Rate: Β£500 to Β£600 per day, inside IR35

Contract: Initial 6 months

Working pattern: Full time

An exciting opportunity to support senior leadership at the heart of a major government transformation programme. You will play a key role in governance, executive operations, and oversight of contracts and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead executive, board, and committee meetings including agendas, papers, minutes, and action tracking
  • Support senior leaders with governance, operational, and procedural advice
  • Ensure effective governance processes and continuous improvement
  • Review and oversee contracts and partnerships, assessing value, risk, and performance
  • Work with legal, finance, and procurement on contract changes or exits
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Essential Experience
  • Strong background in executive operations, or senior leadership support
  • Experience supporting boards or committees
  • Excellent drafting and organisational skills
  • Experience managing or reviewing contracts or partnerships
Desirable Experience
  • Public sector or regulated environment experience
  • Knowledge of governance, compliance, or value for money principles
