This Top 20 Accountancy practice are looking to further develop their indirect tax team by the addition of a VAT Manager to help deal with all the complex VAT advisory issues. It is an incredibly strong team with great indirect tax professionals across all different levels. As such, you have great support from below and above as they look to help progress you through to the next level.
The VAT work will be incredibly varied and allow you to deal with all aspects of UK VAT advisory whilst also gaining exposure to international VAT issues. The bulk of your work will be focused on VAT advisory, with only the most complex VAT compliance work being passed to you. They have a great team of VAT juniors, and you will be expected to aid their development and review the VAT returns which they submit.
The culture of the business is incredibly meritocratic and they are able to promote as and when you are performing. As such, your progression is truly in your own hands and there is a clear route to make it to VAT Senior Manager, VAT Director, and even to VAT Partner.
The successful VAT Manager must have substantial experience with UK indirect tax advisory experience; qualifications are not a must for this role.
