Operating internationally, it combines proprietary pricing data, analytical tools and specialist advisory expertise to support developers, investors, buyers and sellers in making informed decisions within increasingly sophisticated energy markets.
This is a highly visible role within a growing finance function, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer. The successful individual will provide commercial finance, planning, reporting and analytical support to senior leadership, helping to drive informed decision-making across this data led organisation. The position plays a critical role in delivering timely insight to internal stakeholders, investors and the executive team. It will also be instrumental in enhancing forecasting accuracy, and strengthening the organisation's analytical capabilities as the business continues to scale.
Key Responsibilities:- Partner closely with the CFO and Exec leadership team on performance management, strategic planning, resource allocation, headcount analysis and business reviews.
- Deliver meaningful financial and operational insights, identifying key performance drivers, risks and growth opportunities through regular reporting and analysis.
- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate commercial opportunities, assess strategic trade-offs and support data-driven decision making.
- Collaborate with teams across finance, commercial operations, sales, marketing and other business functions to provide scalable analysis and actionable insights.
- Lead the review of business performance, producing management information, interpreting trends and supporting senior leaders in developing actions to improve outcomes.
- Own the budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes, coordinating inputs from across the business and maintaining oversight of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow projections.
- Identify opportunities to streamline, automate and enhance financial planning, forecasting and reporting processes, supporting the continued development of a best-in-class finance function.
- Qualified accountant
- Proven track record of developing FP&A capabilities in organisations with similar business model (B2B subscription, SaaS, data and Services)
- Exceptional presentation skills
