This is an opportunity to join a major UK business with significant scale, operational complexity and long-term stability, operating as part of a wider international group. The UK business generates c.£450m annual turnover across six legal entities, with the core operating company accounting for c.£350m. It runs a people-heavy operating model across 14 sites nationwide. The organisation is backed by a global parent group with multi-billion turnover, providing strong governance, investment and structure.
Working closely with the Financial Controller and Finance Director, the Senior Accountant will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial reporting and partnering with operational and site leadership teams.
What you'll be doing:
- Deliver accurate, insightful management accounts and performance analysis
- Own balance sheet integrity, reconciliations and month-end processes
- Partner with operational and site leaders to support decision-making
- Support budgeting, reforecasting and cost control across multiple entities
- Produce clear, value-adding management information for non-finance stakeholders
- Involvement in company secretarial and statutory reporting duties
- Support cross-functional projects in a complex, multi-site environment
What we're looking for:
- Qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong all-round management accounting and balance sheet experience
- Comfortable operating in large, operational, people-led organisations
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- ERP experience essential - SAP
