We are looking for proactive, commercial minded Quantity Surveyors who aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. You will be a confident communicator, able to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and project teams, while keeping a clear focus on budgets, risks, and commercial outcomes. You are personable, hands-on, and solution-focused, thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where every decision counts.
The Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of commercial management across diverse infrastructure programmes, ensuring costs are controlled, risks are mitigated, and projects are delivered to the highest standard. You will work on-site and in the London office, supporting teams across design, procurement, and delivery, using NEC contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage budgets, contracts, and commercial risks on complex projects
- Deliver cost control and commercial reporting across rail, power, and infrastructure programmes
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to meet financial and operational targets
- Work on-site across London and/or in the office near St Paul’s (3 days per week)
Requirements
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in mechanical/electrical or multidisciplinary infrastructure projects
- Strong NEC contract knowledge and commercial acumen
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work across multiple projects during design and delivery phases
